Why Routine Exercise Is Good

Why Routine Exercise Is Good
Routine exercise is something that anyone can do at any time no matter what age, gender, or condition you’re in. It’s one of the most rewarding things one can do. We go throughout our days at work, school, meetings, etc. We all have different lives with different schedules, and that is understandable. But incorporating routine exercise into your day is not as hard or as inconvenient as one might think. It only takes about 30-60 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise 5 days/week to improve your health. The word exercise might sound dreadful to you and a lot of people out there but don't let it scare you, exercise isn't here to hurt you, it’s here to help you. It’s not like you have to run an entire marathon every day to keep fit.

You might be asking yourself how to include exercise to your routine, well it’s a lot easier than you think. With routine exercise, you can experiment and find out which types of exercises are right for you. You can even make up your own as long as it does not harm you and actually works you out properly. There are an abundance of light exercises you can do on a daily basis to improve your overall health. It’s a fun thing you can make a regular thing out of and you can even invite a friend or family member to join you for motivation. Including exercise in your everyday life will completely transform you physically and mentally. So here are a few reasons why routine exercise is good for you.

 Physical Health
Obviously one of the benefits of routine exercise is the fact that you will sculpt your body to be the one you've always wanted. Whatever exercises you choose, you will burn fat, build muscle, and feel great. It’s a process that most definitely does not happen overnight but is well worth the wait. With regular exercise you will have a stronger immune system, eliminate risks of cardiovascular diseases, and strengthen your bones. It’s just nothing but wins for you. I mean if you have the opportunity to just get up and start moving for the betterment of yourself, why not? Like everyone says, “time flies” and before you know it you won't even recognize yourself in the mirror.

Physiological Health

Another fantastic benefit of routine exercise is that your overall psychological health will improve. As you move around doing whatever activity it is that you’re doing, the release of proteins spur and causes nerve cells to grow thus improving brain function. For example, if running is part of your routine, your brain will release chemicals, giving you what's called a “runners high”. However that’s not just limited to running. Exercise in general gets you pumped and confident. Routine exercise has been proven to improve your overall mood, improve sleep quality, improve your self-esteem, and even prevent depression. Exercise is basically a natural antidepressant you’re able to activate at any time.
There really is no down-side to adding exercise to your daily routine, you just have to stay determined, and have discipline. In the beginning, it will be difficult adjusting to this new lifestyle, but slowly but surely you will be seeing results, and it will become easier and easier allowing you to push for tougher more strenuous exercises that you couldn't do before, you’ll go from lifting light and running short distances to being one of those people who go hard without even trying with workouts like hiit. So get up, stop worrying, get out there and find yourself a routine that works for you and enjoy a long, rich, healthy life.
